Return from Spain

Due to the unpredictability of flights, we ask that a parent or guardian be available to pick up their child from West High School within the following time window on April 7:

7:30 – 11:30 PM

This timeframe accounts for the time needed to retrieve checked baggage, gather the group, and travel back to West High School via coach bus.

It also accounts for potential flight delays or arriving earlier. The group leader will communicate any updates as soon as they become available in the parent Signal group.

Flight Changes and Delays

Any flight updates, delays, or changes will be communicated in Signal “Spain (Parent)” group. This group is for PARENTS ONLY.

It’s critical that every traveler has Mobile Passport Control (MPC) installed on their phone. This will help them move through customs as quickly as possible.

If a Traveler Misses a Connecting Flight, this is the plan:

🏨 Hotel Accommodations

Once hotel accommodations are confirmed, they will be listed here and on the traveler website along with the full itinerary. Hotel information is also posted on the traveler site under itinerary.

Room Assignments & Grouping Details

Below are the room assignments for groups four, thoughtfully arranged to balance fairness and preferences. These assignments may change, including after we arrive in Spain. However, no one has been placed in a room or chaperone group with someone they specifically requested not to room with. We will use the list below for grouping by chaperone for attendance checks during travel (airport, coach bus, etc.) and group activities.

Rooming assignments will be added here later after all travelers submit their Traveler Info & Roommate Preference form.

Laundry Service

Although many of the hotels may have laundry services, please don’t count on this always being available. In some cases—especially in remote regions—laundry is sent out to a local provider for a fee. I want to set the expectation that laundry service is not guaranteed at every stop.
